1. Service Description

SaneCost is a cost optimization service that monitors AWS infrastructure and provides notifications via Slack. The service operates with read-only access to your AWS resources, with limited stop/terminate permissions for resources tagged as managed by SaneCost.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Provide accurate AWS account information
• Maintain appropriate AWS permissions
• Use the service in compliance with AWS Terms of Service
• Not attempt to circumvent security measures

3. Service Limitations

SaneCost provides recommendations based on automated analysis. We do not guarantee specific cost savings. Users are responsible for reviewing and approving all actions before execution.

4. Liability

SaneCost is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any damages resulting from service use, including but not limited to accidental resource termination or service interruptions.

5. Pricing

The service is currently free to use. Pricing may be introduced in the future with 30 days notice. Early users will receive preferential pricing.

6. Termination

Either party may terminate the service at any time. Upon termination, remove the CloudFormation stack and revoke Slack app permissions.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
